Hi Guys,
Does anybody know if the Ram OP has a welded or rivetted lower hull?
Perhaps someone has noticed this feature on the restored Ram OP in the Netherlands?
Thinking on backdating the Formations Ram OP conversion to a late production gun tank as used in training units, and I am wondering if the Tasca kit is in that respect a better donor kit then the Tamiya kit is?
I also found some pics of the Ram gun tank in postwar Dutch service with what seems to be a British 75mm gun fitted (Cromwell / Churchill style). Is this a correct observation, or has the 6 pounder just been fitted with the muzzle brake from the 75mm? (It would imply a reworked ammo storage too, something I think unlikely for a vehicle just used for training purposes with the cash starved post war Dutch army.)
Hope someone have the answers, thanks in advance.
