Hi Rob,
Knowing now that a Ram II gun tank is in the making I'll wait for that one instead of doing a conversion myself of the OP kit. (Especially with no references on the inner gun mantlet.)
A Ram MK I/early MK II conversion (for the Academy M3 lower hull?) would be great too! :-) Especially with a fair number of, if not most Kangaroos based on this vehicle.
You're quite right of course, a conversion specially for the Tasca kit is given the retail cost of it not a wise business decision. I stand corrected here, being a buyer is another postion then a seller, sometimes one forgets that in all enthousiasm.
At the moment working on an initial Sherman M4A1, using your DV hull with the Tasca kit, and with some work & filler all fits well. As a fact, it took more work to adapt the Academy Priest bogies to fit the lower hull (newly scratched hull mounting plates) then it took to make the DV hull fit.
I will send you a mail in regard to the Wheel and Tracks Ram article. Thanks again for your answers.
