Alex, agree with all you say however whilst a 1/35 Me321/323 is unlikely look at some of the stuff we have in plastic now that was once resin or indeed was just a day dream! Also a Horsa has just been released in this scale. How about someone out there doing just the nose/cockpit section which could be posed open in 1/35 (Great North Road)? It would make for a superb diorama! I have both the 321 and 323 to build with 1/72 scale armour and can recommend the superb Schiffer book on the type as a great reference.
Who knows, maybe we might get a 1/48th 323 suitable for some armour from Tamiya et al?
