Hi Mark,
nice idea to build a Panther in the Battle of Berlin. But keep in mind, that Panthers were also build by Daimler Benz in Berlin-Marienfelde, so in my opinion you wouldn't find a very late MAN Panther in or around Berlin because transport from Nürnberg to Berlin by rail became rather impossible due to Allied air raids with great impact on Germany's railway system in the last months of WW2. HTH
