I don't know about that. I took a long look at Steve Z's build and review of the Academy kit over at Missing Links and decided I'd rather fuss with the Italeri kit as it can be had much less expensively.
Also of you go to Modeler RV he has a fantastic article on his conversion of the Italeri kit to an early Brit M7 for North Africa. He also references a build article in an old issue of Fine Scale Modeler.
If you have any trouble finding any of the links let me know and I'll send them directly to you.
