Does anyone have a scanned photo or drawing showing the driver's frontal
armor of the early KV-2? This is the type with the ribbed gun mantle
and more angled turret armor. Aparently it did not have the bow
machinegun on the left side, but I can not see what is there in the
grainy photos available. Was it a plug? Pictures seem to show
something, but not the machinegun. Also, were there other changes. I
know about the lack of the extra armor on the driver's plate and
reenforcements along the hull side. |
