Gentlemen:
There are at least three other shots of this vehicle- Captain Roy Dunlop's
Forward Observation Post on Hill 213- in Daniel Taylor's "Villers Bocage
through the Lens". 2 show front three quarter views, the other is a blurry
shot of the drivers side front( pages 55 and 56). Being a panzer enthusiast
I can't tell you much about modifications and it isn't entirely clear
whether there is a turret roof star. On the same page as the blurry shot,
however, are 2 shots of a Cromwell the Germans got running. It clearly has
the roof star with the ventilator dome painted white.
