| Subject: | British artillery nomenclature | |
| Date: | Jul 24, 2008 |

Can anyone point me to a web page that will translate "pounder" into gun bore diameters? I guess that the naming was left over from earlier days but each time I try to figure out what was the corresponding mm/inch diameter, I get a headache.
Thanks,
