I've never seen a soft skinned vehicle painted in "ambush scheme" Heer or
WSS. As for smocks, I think you would be pushing it as far as historical
accuracy is concerned if you painted them in any pattern other than
"splinter" or "marsh". I believe there were some Luftwaffe ground units who
wore the "Palm Clumps" pattern (normally worn by the WSS), but I think it
was on the eastern front durring '43 or so. I am open to correction.
