Hi all,

I'm at the stage when I'm about to apply the number plates to my
Schwimmwagen. Problem is, the picture I used for inspiration (Panzer Colours
I, pg 57) is a close one and the front plate isn't visible.

I what I just wondering, is there any special way the numbers were assigned
to vehicles? Or is it merely then next one no matter what division, etc. For
example, the Tamiya kit includes a Grossdeutschland plate of 'WH 1637551',
would 'WH 1637555' be a GD vehicle or could it have been used in a
completely different division?

What I'm getting at, is it safe to create my own random plate numbers when I
have no idea what the real vehicle's was?

Thanks.

Ken
