| Subject: | Panzer 38(t)/Marder III kit wheels (again) | |
| Date: | Aug 2, 2001 |
| From: | Christophe Jacquemont | |
OK, OK, I read the previous threads...
Still something puzzles me, in the latest Modell Fan there is an article
on the Tamiya kit, and in the same article photos of the Aberdeen
exhibit.
Like Paul Owen wrote in one of his posts, it is fairly obvious that the
rubber "tyre" around the wheels in much thicker/wider on the Aberdeen
vehicle compared to the kit, and I'm not nitpicking it's really obvious
: have a look at photos.
Is Mr Tamiya ("perfect is my middle name") again getting away with
murder?
OK the kit looks excellent, but wrong tracks, wrong wheels, wrong "wire
panier" at the back, anything else???
Cheers,
Christophe |
