Your following comments are the reason I posted my question concerning Academys M3 on this site in the first place.
<<<<<<<< "We model for our own enjoyment and so come at this from different perspectives. If
for some that means extensive discussions on why a particular turret basket will
work in one variant and not in another, that's the info those people need to hear
and share. If you don't need to know this, if it spoils the illusion that the kit
is fine out of the box, don't read the threads. But keep in mind that's why we're
gathered here on the Internet, to develop and share such information. Note that
this discussion
group is, in fact, called "Research." >>>>>

I had hoped some individual far more knowledgable than I may have the information I sought concerning weather I could use the M3 interrior details or not. As you state this group is intended to be for reaserch purposes.
I'm not a rivit counter (or at least don't consider myself as one) but as the M3 has the ability to open up the whole front showing the interrior I thought I would give it "MY" best shot at being reasonably accurate.

I am stuned at the reaction I set in motion and quite frankly sickened by some of the bitching that has resulted and probably will not eagerly venture to visit this site again for help or information. Well done to some of you as you provide good advice and help. As to the rest, you do the hobby a diservice with your over inflated egos and opinions.

As a side note - no one has answered or been able to answer my original question - is it because you are all lost in the way the converastions have gone or what?
