The most common Sherman was the M4A4, Sherman V, in both its 75mm and
17pdr armed versions. That being said, you could also find significant
numbers of M4s, Sherman I (75mm, 17 pdr and 105mm (?)), M4A1, Sherman II
(75mm), and M4A2, Sherman III (75mm). The Yanks kept the M4A3s for
themselves and the M4A6 never went into large scale production. The M4A5
was the Yank designation for the Ram.
We also made and used (in Canada) 188 Grizzly Mk Is which were M4A1s
made at Montreal Locomotive.
