Walter Spielbereger's definitve reference, Panther and Its Variants,
discusses this vehciel in some depth. Also, I'm sure Thomas Jentz's book
GErmany's Panther Tank, the Quest for Combat Supremacy talks about this
vechicle some. Be warned, these are fairly pricey at @ $49 U.S. However,
if you order through the Schiffer Publishing website, chances are the
shipping's free. You do get your money's worth, I can for certain with
the Spielberger book, and pretty much guarantee the same with the Jentz
book based on other books by him and Doyle that I have. I don't have
it...yet...

Thes ervice is great BTW...
There might be some less expensive books out there that discuss the
Panther II specifically, but I don't what those are. If you're a Panther
fan in general, and with the excellent Panther kits on the market, one
or both of the books provide great references and detail shots of
various vehicles.
