Hi folks,
The background details in Dragon boxart haven't been a factor in some years. In truth, the competition had begun to pay attention too! Thus the Dragon/Gunze Panther G got pre-empted by Tamiya's offering. That was the end of any background hints.
In fact, when the JS2 art was painted, the smoldering Grille was initially going to be a Hetzer, however the Hetzer was somewhere in the design stage and it was thought unwise to even suggest one in a painting background.
Nowadays, I simply include whatever is appropriate
(and expedient)! Sorry I can't deliver on the T34/76!
Cheers,
Ron |
