For those new and old modelers who need good photo references on the
Tiger I, Squadron has the Histoire & Collections "Tiger I on the Western
Front" (includes N. Africa and Italy) in their latest flyer at $19.99.
It has lots of good photos, including some of Tigers with funklink
aerials, some "panzer aces" vehicles (yes, Wittman's Tigers are in it),
and some interesting combos of old turrets on new chassis. The
camouflage and markings are interesting and varied. There are even some
color photos, unfortunately pretty washed out. As usual, a few of the
captions have to be taken with a grain of salt - and a close look at the
photo. This is a companion book to "Tiger I on the Eastern Front."
Also includes a few Pz IIINs, a Panther or two, and other assorted hard
and soft skins.
