In regards to the StuG IVs in the 17th SS, everything that I have read has
said that the unit (i.e. the entire 17th SS) was operating a total of 42
StuG IVs at the beginning of the conflict and most of those were destroyed
or abandoned. Unfortunately, I don't know the allocation of StuG IIIs or
what type they were.
