OK we’re talking late production Jagdpanzer IVs (L48 75mm gun) without
Zimmerit.
In the Wydawnictwo MILITARIA book n° 150 “Jagdpanzer IV” there is only
one photo of such a vehicle (destroyed). There are however four colour
plates at the end of the book and I’d like to know if those are backed
up by any photo evidence (all vehicles have bare threading showing at
the end of the gun but this might not be conclusive) ?
1/ Not numbered, overall dark yellow with dark green wide stripes and
small dark yellow spots on the green, German crosses on the rear side
panels. Dark grey gun. Caption of this colour profile : Jagdpanzer IV
Sd Kfz 162 Ausf F of unidentified unit, Germany, April 1945.
2/ Black number 111 (white outline), overall red oxyde primer with large
areas of grey and dark yellow, dark yellow spots on the grey and primer,
German crosses on the rear side panels. Caption of this colour profile :

3/ Red number 112 (white outline), overall dark yellow with large areas
of dark green, German crosses on the rear side panels. Caption of this

4/ Black number 222 (white outline), overall dark green with overprayed
areas of dark yellow, German crosses on the rear side panels. Caption of

Panzerjäger Lehr Abteilung, Panzer Lehr Division, Germany, Spring 1945.
