Allan,
Their work does take some getting use to. Not being subjective on the issues
tends to take away the personality of the writing a bit. Still the
information is hard to dispute when they only quote official sources. As for
1940 and the Campaign in the West, there are plenty of colour pictures of
tanks attributed to that campaign that are just Panzer Grey. I believe (and
this is me being subjective) that the German army seemed to jump the gun on
these official orders (possibly the official orders tidied up unofficial
expidiant orders). There are definitely Dark Yellow vehicles in service in
the USSR months before the official order of Feb 43 as well.
