For starters:

The 37th Tank Battalion, 4th Armored DIvision relieved Bastogne. An E2
named "Cobra King" was the first tank into the city. Steve Zaloga's
book:"The Sherman at War (2) The US Army in the European Theater 1943-1945"
has a picture and a color plate of this tank.

The 743rd Tank Battalion used a number of these variants as well. A picture
of one is seen following a bulldozer tank through St. Vith.
