Thanks for your replies.
In fact I was led to ask for some comments on this matter mostly because 1940 French campaign is my favourite modelling period and wanted to settle things right for the heap of small scale panzers that I have to paint. The fact remains that this two-colours scheme did exist, even if we will never possibly know how common it was and I would like to know a little more about it.
