The biggest problem I have with Military Modelling is the quality of the
photographs* . I suspect most of TMMI's photography is done in-house,
which makes for a very consistent high quality in every issue. Some
articles in Mil Mod, no matter what the content, are spoilt by crappy
photography. What's worse, their last two or three issues appear to be
printed on thinner, cheap looking paper on which photos look even
blurrier. Did anyone else notice this or is it just me?
Rutger Warrink
* well, alright, some of the articles as well, but then MMIR isn't
always too hot either: "this is tamiya's new kit, I built it straight
from the box and I sprayed it olive drab. [insert lame joke here].
That's it folks."
To be honest It's been a while since I read one, maybe they have since
improved. |
