Another good choice, if you are interested in personal accounts of the
infantry is "The Forgotten Soldier" by Guy Sayer. Its well written and
translated, and also lacks the self-promotion of someother WWII personal
accounts. Its available from several publishers in varying grades of paper
quality.

What sort of books were you interested in?
