Hi Bjorn,
The cast cupola means that it is an early (according to Tom Jentz, there is
no such thing as the late D with cast cupola). I guess it is time to
replace the book you got the information from. Isn't it wonderful how the
information keeps changing and one has to buy new books to correct the older
ones?
The best Panther book, for accuracy, is Germany's Panther Tank; The Quest
for Combat Supremacy, published by Schiffer. Much more accurate than the
Achtung Panzer, Spielberger, Squadron, and Concord books I bought before.
Cheers,
Saul Garcia
PS- That book sounds like a winner for the DML early A kit.
