| Subject: | 4 Armoured Brigade: two-colour Arm-of-service signs | |
| Date: | Jan 26, 2003 |
| From: | Mike Canaday | |
Recently I received some great old AFV-G2 articles on British markings froma
friend of mine which contained an interesting tid-bit about the 4th Armoured
Brigade AoS signs. The article, titled "Sherman Medium Tanks Part III", by
William Platz, stated that the AoS signs were green over blue as opposed to
red. Unfortunately there is no reference cited for this tid bit. The
pictures referenced in the thread started by Erik Liljegren's post of almost
a year ago do seem to indicate the signs were two color.
