Kurt,
Do you remember what the mantlet looked like? The D-5 T used a
"flat", machined or rolled looking mantlet with four bolts, two on each
side, one top, one bottom. The Zis used a "cast" looking mantlet, much
rougher in texture which protruded out considerably. It too used four
bolts, two top, two bottom, with "bolt grooves" cut into it to
facilitate getting at the mounting bolts. Knowing that would help me
evaluate the measurements a little bit better.
