I don't think the Ausf. H would have had the mesh armor fitted as the plate type armor was carried over well into J production. Detail parts like idler wheels varied, as they were mass produced for years and different factories had varying stocks of parts sitting around, so for that you could find photos of late tanks with eariler idlers, early hatches, etc.
The only tanks that I have seen photos of with a different tread plate pattern on the fenders/track guards were probably post war rebuilds, so i don't know about that detail. |
