Is that side elevation the one in the Osprey "Panther variants" New
Vanguard?
This one shows the structure underneath the turret completely burried. Also
living
quarters are in another "box" beneath the first one, complete with a stove
that
has a pipe sticking out (didn't want the crew to get carbon monoxyde
poisining or
freeze to death).
Other Panther pillboxes where just put on the ground, not burried.
There are photos of both variants in the Osprey book.
I think there is good info elesewhere but I can't remember where, I'll have
to
dig through my books....
Cheers,
