| What a great site! I'll be back many times,I'm sure.I wonder if anyone can help me.I'm a community visiting nurse in Toronto.I have a 91 year old patient who served in a Panzer Abwehr Kanone unit on the eastern front.He said it was a PAK-40 75 mm.(he speaks almost no english,his daughter translates).He said his unit was the 214th.Would this be his regiment number? Would anyone know where I can go from here for info on this unit? He says he was responsible for knocking out 8 T-34's and was severely wounded in the defence of Germany on January 14th 1945. Any help would be great- THANKS! |
