| Subject: | Seeking references on Late Panther G unit | |
| Date: | Mar 8, 2003 |
| From: | Nick Zafirakis | |
| I am interested in a picture found in the Concord Publishing Panther book on page 7 showing a unit of late panther g's lined up on a country road purportedly east of Berlin. The Panthers show a uniform camouflage which looks to me like diagonal stripes of Olive Grun, (perhaps) dunkel gelb, a brown, dunkel gelb and then green again. The crew is clambering all over the front vehicle and there is no clear view of any vehicle markings. I would appreciate any advice on the unit, the location of any other photographic references of the unit, ideas about the actual colours used and potential vehicle markings. I am currently modelling the Dragon PzBefWg and hoping someone can help me. |
