| The 19th panzer division used the wolfsangel as did das reich 2nd ss, 4th ss polizei and even a panzergrenadier division. I would believe that it would belong to either the 19th pz div. or the 2nd ss div the two was simply a vehicle number system used for complimentary vehicles(flampanzers, medical mantenaince engineers so forth and so on)attached to the various field units. The german divisional signs were unique if not utterly confusing. Additionally I searched for a tactical insignia for the flampanzer units and they does not seem to exist at least from my records and books. |
