As far as I know, yes, that was the only unit having the large box. No
idea about dimensions but should be easy to guess from 1111 pics.

I think there was a pic of a 234 with vision port opened in
www.photosammler.com

Yes, 3 sections and the supports were a triangle with 3 "hollow
cylinders" to insert the rods.

The famous 1111 is not enough? There is a shot from top that should show
what you need.
