Hi Bill,
I've seen it in grey in both a photo in a Stalingrad book (it had winterketten
too!) unfortunately I don't have the book (maybe Neville Lord knows?), also I
have a factory photo in a Waffen Arsenal book I recently purchased, "Panzer
Raritäten" and there is a factory photo I think the vehicle is grey on that one
too. I'll check and post a scan within a day or two.
