One book that may help you build your tank is Concord's The Tank
Battles in Germany 1944-45 by Steven J.Zaloga There are two good
photographs of the add on armour arrangement. I cannot see from the e-bay
photo if it also has the turret add on too or not. Book states that the
armour was made by canniblizing battle damaged/weary M4 Shermans (book
shows one such).Armour was full frontal not just the lower region.
No doubt Allied Builders will know more if you need info.
