| Subject: | Question regarding British AT gun ammunition... 17 pdr??? | |

Hi,
Was 17 pdr ammunition one piece or two pieces. I remember seeing the MBT Challenger 1 having two piece ammunitions. If so, what about the 17 pdr gun of WWII?
The 6 pdr gun used a one piece ammunition right? After all, the 57mm AT gun in US service did.
I really need this info, as I want to pose a Sherman Firefly with empty 17 pdr brass shell casings. If such a thing even existed!
Thanks!
