Some more Info:
192 Stug Abt was formed in november 1940 and fought in North and Central
Russia during 1942.
The unit was incorporated in Division Grossdeutchland as Stug abt GD in apil
1942. Photos also show
the unit markings on the left side of the front. The numbers - two digits in
white were handpainted above the unit markings on the first fore roof plate.
I have only seen A and B's on photograps with number markings.
177 Stug abt was whiped out in Stalingrad, and later rebuilt.
