Hi Harry and Jon,
I wrote a review on the Wespe ( http://www.track-link.net/reviews/b86 ) and
personally, I never cared about color profiles since they are rarely
accurate. So, my review concentrated on the scale drawings, which I
compared to the Nuts & Bolts title, and the museum photos.
While plans are readily available, not many are of this quality. By reading
the editorials, it becomes obvious that the aim of the publisher is to help
the modeler finish a kit with detail information (in the form of plans, pe
sets, or decals). I'll have to check around but I think I found most of the
Wespe photos which the color profiles are supposed to represent but I would
never vouch for the colors.
As for the Brummbar title( http://www.track-link.net/reviews/b79 ), an
attempt was made to show different production batches and this compares
favorably to the other Brummbar title produced by Waldemar Trojca which only
covers two batches (one Ausf E and Ausf F chassis).
Jon, please submit a review since every opinion reflects a different
perspective and approach to a product. At least we both agree that the
modeler's section was not worthwhile ;-)
