Sorry I can't help with the camo question, but I can tell you that every SS
division had a battery of 88's assigned to their divisional flak battalions.
For example, Michael Reynolds' orders of battle for both the 1st and 12th SS
divisions during Normandy show at least 3 88's apiece. These were the dual
purpose guns, not the anti-tank version of the 88 L/71. |
