Subject:  Summary of aftermarket M3 75mm gun barrels (late form)List thread.

 Date:  Sep 12, 2003

Now that I have a baker's dozen of these compared, I thought I'd plot the
replacement barrels at 1/1 (i.e., 1/35) and show a side-by-side comparison.
this may be more sensible to some as it avoids the "micrometer-wielding"
aspects of the individual reviews and relies more on "Does it look right?"

If you wanted to break it down into the useable and unusable families based
on shape, I'd say the TTWA 0044, JR TG-17, Lion Roar 35014, ToRo 35005 and
surprisingly the DML M4A4 are useable while the remainder of them are not
really improvements over what you get in the kits. Yes, all of them more or
less look like M3 75mm barrels, but for my money, I want the ones that are
"more" rather than "less".
