| The DML kit is based on a photo of a particular tank knocked out on the Eastern front in 1945 during the Russian advance into Eastern Germany. The tank in the photo has the forward parts of the fenders removed. There are a fair number of photos showing older StuG vehicles either rearmed or with thier original 75mm howitzer later in the war. |
