Don't forget the extra weight of reinforcement members to keep the chassis
from folding in two.
This model is supposedly based on a historical photo, but until I see the
photo I'll remain skepical.
If it was in fact done, it must have been an act of desperation to make the
Flak38 mobile. After all, we are talking about a 985cc with only 23.5hp @
3,000rpm. Gheez, I doubt my the 1600cc in my '70 Beetle could deal with taht
kind of payload.And with the high CG, I wouldn't want to be on irregular
terrain with it.
