Hey guys.
I went looking online for data on this Kirin kit, #21511 1/16 2.8cm Schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (28mm/20mm squeezebore) but the pictures I found has the light carriage set up in a different way (the supports are bent differently).
It also reportedly dropped the armor shields and got the lighter carriage for airportability (text here and elsewhere agree), but the RL pics show the shield in place. The drawings have no shields but the carriage matches.

Was Kirin known for goofing like this, and if so, should I go with the pic I found, and not the one on the Kirin box?
Perhaps the Fallschirmjäger elected to keep the shields? A 'correction/alteration' between design & usage?
