so Im attempting to mount the tamiya interpretation of the maybach HL230 in my Sturmtiger. Tamiya sure have cut a few corners on this one. So now i need any good pics of that engine ( the one with two air cleaners, not 3) and particularly the engine compartment. My costly collection of reference books has the HL210 ( 3 filters) so has this gawd awfull manifold thingy covering things. The engine bay i am looking for in particular is Tiger, mid to late production. although same engine was used in panthers and king tigers, they had differnt cooling pipes and filter configurations.
Any help appreciated. Even models to have a look!
