1. Canadian Army paiting and marking generally followed British Army practices. For NWE from Normandy to VE-Day the vehicles were an overall Olive Green (roughly 34087). In most cases new vehicles were issued to the units just before D-Day and would not be pattern painted. Training in England used old equipment that would most likely have been a mix of pattern and plain.
2. Vehicles in Italy would be a base brown colour and more likely to have included the Mickey Mouse pattern.
