Subject:  Canadian Quad/Chevy FAT serial numbers questionList thread.

Hi guys,

Here comes another batch of my questions about Quad FAT and 25pdr gun.

1.Looking at a number of photos of Quad/Chevy FAT in the web, I noticed that Canadian gun tractors tend to have their WD serial numbers repeated also on the rear of the vehicle, except having them painted on the left&right side. The British ones I've seen seem to have them not painted on the rear of the vehicle.
Is this a kind of rule for Canadian vehicles or I am mistaken here?
The Tamiya Quad does not include the third set of serial numbers to apply them to the back of the tractor - so I'm wondering whether I should add the numbers using aftermarket decals?

2. Is there any book available with good selection of in action/detail photos of Quad/Chevy and 25 pdr gun?

TIA for help,

Piotr
