There's a 48-star American flag in the old Tamiya M3 Lee kit. As for the
yellow stars, etc., I used Lettraset rub on markings. Paint the yellow areas
first, apply the right size rub on stars, turret bands and letters for the
tank's name, then paint the blue for the serials, apply the rub on letters,
then spray the olive drab. When dry, press some masking tape over the rub on
areas to peel them off and voila! Perfect painted-on markings.
