You can get Modelkasten tracks to fix that problem.

As for filling it, have one nice picture around here somehwere showing a
captured one loaded with Germans (must have been fairly early in the war -
old style helmets) and panzerfausts. If you're interested, let me know and
I'll try to find it.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the build up of the Tamiya kit over on
PMMS, and that was consistent with what I remembered before. Too bad the
tracks are so bad. Of course, that's why there's mud...
I'm keen to finally get the kit and try filling it with troopers and gear
some day.
