Mikko,
The answer to the colour of the numbers is a mystery. The individual platoons within the 2nd company of sSS101 used different styles and possibly colours of markings. For example the famous picture of "222" towing "231" away from Villers Bocage shows that 2nd Platoon applied the Korps insignia onto the zimmerit whereas 3rd Platoon had it in a cutout. Also the turret bins of 2nd Platoon seem to show a white outline around the numbers and 3rd Platoon, as seen on "231" seem to show a solid number on the bin, but outlined n white on the turret. The turret number of "205" appears to be quite light but not white. It could be blue outlined in yellow as 3rd Company, or possibly even pink outlined white. If you look at a picture of "204" it has much darker numbers.
The bar for the tracklinks appears round in section and I think was welded under the towing eye.
"205" was definitely not a command Tiger.
