Terry,
I am assuming that you mean the Verlinden hull and not the newer TRAKZ hull. Main problems with the Verlinden hull are sevearl small details taken from the modified Tamiya M4A3 hull which are late production features not on a mid-production M4A2. Most noticable problem are the crew hatches which are too round instaed of oval. They are too short on the turret ring end. Less noticable is the angle of the rear plate which should be straighter than the M4A3 hull from which the master must have been modified. Casting is however top notch and it is an easy conversion. The newer TRAKZ kit is however no better in detail and the casting on the TRAKZ kit is not as good. ADV/Azimut I believe also makes a M4A2 hull but I have not seen the kit and they are difficult to get outside of Europe. At one time Tank Workshop was going to make one but it never appeared and now Tiger Models has the line. They may show interest in making the hull. If Formations makes a M4A2 hull I would think it would be good. From what i have seen on line and the magazines thier items seem top notch.
