Sam,
One of the early Armour Modelling Japanese magazine Vol 10 ran an article by a japanese modeler Hiroyuki Nakada. Although the article is in japanese, the article includes both photos and templates for the Sdkfz 251/17 in 1/35 scale. If I am not mistaken Azimut either made a conversion kit or planned to make on for this unusual flak vehicle. With the both the AFV Club Sdkfz 251D and the Tristar Flak 38 coming out I figured that this conversion was probably in my future. Unless AFV Club adds this to their new offerings (probably not until after I scratch build mine).
